With their new song “Frei”, Snakes in the Pit stood out from over 340 applicants in the SongUp! initiative, winning a professional production at Hamburg’s renowned Bookie Park Studios.

SongUp! brings together producers and artists to create songs that take a stand on pressing social issues, promoting democracy, tolerance, and diversity.

The result: “Frei” – a high-energy melodic hardcore anthem that boldly confronts hate and the far-right, while celebrating unity, hope, and humanity. The music video was directed by acclaimed scene filmmaker Daniel Priess.
